Hello Everyone !

My name is Jon Bluming Jr. and I am from Amsterdam Holland. Budo enthusiast and lover of Japanese Art , Arms and Armour.
As a kid I grew up with my father's modest Nihonto/Gusoku collection wich I admired very much. Since the caretaking of his collection became
my responsibility , I embarked on a journey to discover and learn more about Katchu ; way of manufacturing , style and period. And also look at
the right way of maintaining, conserving and where nescessary restoring some of the items. As a new member I am looking forward to learning and
sharing all things that is Katchu. My father was the late Martial Art teacher Jon Bluming Sr.

Welcome to the JAS forum, Jon - it's great to have you here! I remember your name from the NMB and if I recall, your father had some renown as a martial artist. We look forward to your participation on the forum.

I guess I can remember the name of your father. I´m also Budo affin....practising Karate since the late 80s.

Hi Uwe , How are you ? Yes , judo was his first love then came kyokushin karate.....

Funny coincidence! I also started with Judo in the 70s before I switched to Shotokan Karate
