Apologies to all, and thanks to Luc.
Recently I wanted to start a new topic in the events section concerning the Okayama National Meeting, but that was not permitted with my lowly status, so Luc offered to post it for me. John Wee Tom has just made a comment underneath, but my screen offers no reply button there.
So, apologies to John for my inability to reply, and thanks to Jo for the explanation, and to Luc for helping me out massively with the photos, text etc.

Piers,
We're all still trying to get a handle on the limitations of our forum-hosting site, so thanks for your patience. With your report on the NKBKHK meeting and the exhibition, we're able to get a taste of those vicariously!

Thank you Piers,
Teriffic article written in your inimitable style, I almost feel as if I was there. It’s a shame no photography was allowed as I’d love to see the ‘favourite object’.
I hope this will become a regular feature.
Regards
Richard

Great write-up, Piers! You should write a book one of these days
Well, that ”favorite” kabuto falls under the catagory ”wabi-sabi”. I wonder if the hole at the top comes from a teppo-ball or a good wack from a blunt weapon?

Haha, you guys crack me up!
John, don't ask me anything over there in the Events section! (My mouth is gagged and my hands are tied.)
Narabi-tsunomoto is when you have two, a twin tsunomoto. Narabu is to line up, stand in line, so narabi means 'in-line' or 'side-by-side'.
