Re: menpo
The label says:
水戸明珍
義臣作の面頬
= Mito Myōchin
Yoshi(o)mi Saku no Menpo
= Menpo/Menbo made by Yoshiomi of the Mito Myōchin.
So, it generally looks right, therefore there is a possibility that the label may be genuine.

Re: menpo
Referring to the label, I have just realized that the おみ down the middle is the reading of the 臣 character for those Japanese who cannot read it!
(Sometimes these things take time. Apologies.)

Re: menpo
hello Luc, thank you ... I have JC Charbonnier's books and I already spoke to him on the phone. I also have r burawoy's book, meiko zukan I also have about fifty bulletins from the Franco-Japanese association, in which R burawoy has published a lot of articles ... in fact my detailed book search comes from so in my books I didn't find the words "kogire" or "kobire" and "egawa", so I was wondering if there was a book with all these details.
On the other hand, I do not understand the relationship with my "Munetaka Yasu" armor ???
