Quick follow-up.

Spent half a day cross-checking sources. Much confusion out there, but finally I struck gold.

Hyōgo no Suké Kagésumi was the founder of the Tazuké Ryū; he later took this name Sōtetsu. This gun has been listed in many museum exhibition catalogues, usually on display with Ōsaka no Jin artefacts, indicating very early Edo period at the latest.
