menpo

Post by Michel Lavigne »

hello, (I use the automatic translation) I am in France and I have an armor whose len menpo has a fabric label on which there would be written in kanji: "SUIYOSI MYOCHIN KI-YOSHIOMI" and "SUIFUJU MYOCHIN YOSHIOMI ".
and "inome" at the level of the ears, I want to know more ... I do not know if it is possible to publish photos on the site?
thank you!!! Michel Lavigne

dear Michel,

you can post pictures, if they are smaller than 800kb.
Yoshiomi (明珍義臣)was a well known Myochin smith from the late edo period.
he lived in Mito, Hitachi.
