Re: The Japanese Legacy Symposium & Grand Tour
Mischa,
What you have just done is reminded us of the truly important things in life: friendship, community, loved ones, health, inspiration and a higher purpose. Though I am saddened by this news, I am heartened by your courage and your willingness to share with us. We have reached a new level of compassion and understanding.
I think by now you must realize that you have friends all over the world, and that you have a place to stay wherever you choose to visit, including my home.
In Jamaica, we have an expression - "Walk Good". Walk Good, my friend.
John

Re: The Japanese Legacy Symposium & Grand Tour
Hello friends,
What a wonderful people you are, thank you so much for your support, kindness and hospitality.
Actually it was not my purpose to share my problem with you all, my intention was to show how important these moments can be and how important this symposium was for me because the illness was already known by me. This place has a very strong social purpose as well.
This night I was awake and I was scared this nice place would be taken away from me, because it gives purpose, for us all, pleasure we all share. I don't like discussions and problems, there are enough problems in life, this place should be a place of peace and fun. I always want to have good peace with everybody. It has been a tough year for us all and I am truly happy that we had such a wonderful time that week, fun again. That's what I wanted to express with my message, the time we have together is more valuable than you even can imagine when we all go back to our normal life, running the life we have. For all of us counts that in the future we will think back of the nice things we have done, and this was one of those moments.
And I thank the JAS, the organizers and all the participators and this community for that. It's important to really know what we have. That was the meaning of my message.
Indeed a fantastic memory of the Stibbert, Jan, I recently saw a picture of that moment:
Thanks again for your wonderful messages, fantastic people! A big boost for us all.

Re: The Japanese Legacy Symposium & Grand Tour
Hi Mischa
We talked together about all of this and this difficult moment for you while we were flying over the bumps in Paris streets. BTW the car still flies like a cheeky little bee. It is waiting for you for a new ride from a bar to another this time.
All of this to say that I concur with John's position. You are also more than welcome at home when you are in Paris. I would like to tell you that we have here great professors dealing with your problem, but I suppose you are already in good hands. Anyway if you want to try another opinion, I will ring the necessary bells in Paris to get an appointment with the best specialist. Three opinions are always better than two about health and especially about eyes.

Hi Mischa,
Its raining here and when it rains it pours...I am so saddened to hear this. New York is Beautiful in the Spring. Maybe its time to Visit here...
and Yes, there is a place to stay.
I was so happy to see you and everyone. The energy was amazing and Yes everyone is Revved Up After what we just experienced
A Family Lunch, some eat more that others...and All enjoyed!
Are my images too large?

Re: The Japanese Legacy Symposium & Grand Tour
Frederic now I am curious: in what kind of car where you flying around? Guess that if you felt the bumps it must have been a real low rider. Contemporary or vintage?
