Dear all,
An unknown menace is hitting the world badly.
Several of our members suffer this beast, called Corona.
I am recovering from this virus now.
I hope you will be saved from this disease.
For those who are contaminated, I wish you the very best.
Take care of yourselves and your beloved,
Luc Taelman

Lucky result, Luc.

This thing has really caught everyone on the back foot. Let's hope that while the lockdowns start to bite, all this new equipment can start to flow in to save more people from now on.

Wash those hands everyone.

It is a mean enemy. My wife is still not recovered, and 3 close friends are in the hospital now. Some others have fever and a headache for 12 days already. It really is a very unpredictable and dangerous virus. Please do as much as possible to avoid contamination.

Oh, that's bad. I hope your wife and friends recover soon. Jan Pettersson had a heavy brush with something just this week. Not sure if I could stand a headache and high fever @39+/- degrees for any amount of time.

Hmmm... every time I come back from some errand I have to mentally reset my 14-day clock to zero. If you don't go out, you can't bring something back. The problem is that one of you can get lazy, and during those lazy lapses...

The last couple of days I have cut the coffee at the other end, out of my daily walk. On the other hand I have been feeling a little strange for about 10 days, but without any testing, how are we expected to know?

Piers, I think it is wise in your situation to avoid contact with other people, as much as possible. There are tests of course, but it is not easy to get one done. A CT-scan is faster, but you need to go to a hospital for that. Be carefull.
