Board meeting NKBKHK March 2018: Luc Taelman becomes board member of NKBKHK

During the NKBKHK board meeting if March (see other post for more details), one extra important topic was raised that earns a separate entry.
In the NKBKHK boardmeeting, it was also decided that Luc Taelman would become a board member of the NKBKHK. This will be officially confirmed, together with other new Japanese board members in the general assembly in June.
It was also decided to try to add more Japanese board members, mainly from other branches in Japan in order to generate more positive movement in these branches (board members are not elected by general vote. The current board tries to actively find/ask/convince people that add value to the board).
In my position as responsible NKBKHK board member for the foreign members, I would like to congratulate Luc with this honor. It underlines the admiration and respect that the NKBKHK board has for the work that you and the JAS have accomplished in the last year. In fact, the influence of the JAS is already being seen within the NKBKHK itself and there are more changes coming, so stay tuned...
