Received it as well and it has been a very good surprise!
Very well done for a first try! Some pics might need to be improved but apart from that it is quite pristine!

Good yearbook ,very interesting topic about the toppai kabuto, i have a toppai kabuto so im reading with atention .just need to translate some technical words part in french language..

Hi Laurent,

I agree with your comments about the toppai kabuto. After reading Takemura-san's article, I have a new appreciation for this style of kabuto. It was a style of kabuto that was very important to the development of armours, especially kabuto from the western part of Japan. I was lucky to acquire a very early and complete example after returning from the symposium. Do you have any pictures of yours?

Gentlemen,

I have received Friday my copy of the 2018 JAS Yearbook and I wanted to congratulate you for the outstanding work.
Everything, from pictures to layout to the text was top class.
I think this sets a very high standard for this kind of publication and something to be proud of.
Really an superb work.
