Welcome to the official forum for the Japanese Armor Society (JAS), the Western branch of the Nihon Katchū Bugu Kenkyū Hozon Kai (NKHKBK), or the Association for the Research and Preservation of Japanese Helmets and Armor.

The JAS was established with the mandate of promoting interest, appreciation, study and scholarship of Japanese armor outside of Japan. This forum has been created as a virtual community center where JAS members and forum visitors can discuss, share and engage with others who share an interest in Japanese armor.
